Our story
Es Niu was born from a very personal need and from a shared dream.
We are Lisa Tarallo and Andreas Heldmann, two foreigners who grew up on the island of Ibiza and now raise our two daughters here. When we became parents, our view of work, family, and community changed completely.
We wanted to keep creating, working, and contributing, but we didn't want to be separated from our little ones for so many hours each day. We were searching for a place that respected our way of parenting, where children could be in a natural, toxin-free environment while adults worked calmly and creatively. A space that would allow us to truly balance family and work life, while also connecting with other parents who share similar values.
Es Niu means "The Nest" in Catalan, a tribute to the local language and culture of Ibiza, the island that raised us. Like a nest, our space is designed to feel warm, safe, and alive. A place where work and parenthood don't compete, but coexist in harmony.
Every detail of Es Niu, the oak tables, the natural materials, the soft light, the respectful design of the children's area, reflects our philosophy. We are not just a coworking space with a kids' corner: we are a community of conscious parents who value creativity, flexibility, and respectful connection.
Es Niu is our family's love letter to Ibiza, and to all families searching for balance — between work and life, self and togetherness, independence and care.
